Hannah Bateman remembers a dramatic robbery at Woolworth’s, where she worked, by a thief known as a Gentle Johnny. Stuart “Shug” Hanlon tells the story about how Bonnybridge was known for UFO sightings about 25 years ago, which he used as inspiration for his novella High Bonnybridge. Both became writers and it’s no surprise with that kind of inspiration! With poetry readings by Chris Freer.
